In 2018, Daniel Reynolds welcomed his first son, Grayson. During Grayson’s battle with congenital heart disease (CHD), Daniel faced one of the most challenging seasons of his life. In that difficult time, he experienced a clear sense of purpose — a vision to build something that would bring people together, support the community, and create connection through shared passions.
From that moment, the foundation for what would become Calvary Collectibles was born.
The Beginning
Calvary collectibles started back in 2019 as Absolute Comics STL. It was back then Daniel, and his co-owner Chris, set out to establish the brand to serve the Mid-West market for collectors, players, and families. Whether looking for a sought after collectible or just wanting to come hang out in an environment built for the family, all were welcome! Then Covid happened and all plans were postponed...
Looking Forward
We are now looking to reestablish the connection with the community and open our doors to the area and Calvary Collectibles! We will be hosting events for TCG players and collectors along with reading and writing classes to turn creatives into publishers!
